Where Care Begins
The Interventional pulmonology service/unit is a multidisciplinary service that aims to provide a range of advanced endoscopic therapeutic and diagnostic services targeted towards respiratory and thoracic diseases. The focus of the interventional unit is designed to bridge and shorten the gap between diagnosis and management for many respiratory and thoracic diseases in Kuwait especially Lung cancer, and provide a high quality MDT service.
From the Heart of Leadership
Our service provides a joint interdisciplinary service with physicians from respiratory, thoracic, interventional/chest radiology, and histo/cyto-pathology, collaborating from many sites across Kuwait, including the KCCC. With this collaboration, we provide patients in Kuwait the highest standard of thoracic and respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic services, as well as act as a gateway to the thoracic and respiratory oncology services, speeding up the time from identification to proper diagnosis and management. Our service provides Rapid Access Clinic for Varity of thoracic and respiratory problems, as well as lung nodules and lung cancer screening services/clinic.
